Education is Key!

Over the past year we have found that many people have heard about essential oils and have even used some of them. Some have been disappointed with the way the essential oils were explained to work, but they themselves did not have the same results. Some have used the oils only for the aromatic properties. And some have just put their oils on the back of their shelves and left them there, not really knowing what or how to use them. For all of these reasons, and others, we have continued to teach our monthly classes on the many uses of these wonderful oils. We have found that by EDUCATING the people on how to properly use these oils, they grow and learn and actually begin to teach others about the oils. The circle of knowledge only gets bigger and bigger. This is a dream come true for me and Katie. We can only see good coming from using essential oils, and teaching others how to become more self reliant with their home health and medicinal needs. Can you imagine paying yourself

Law of Polarity Class Homework 6/18

The biggest part of the homework for this class is to: 1) Work on cultivating your seed, "Diligently Nourtishing your Thought ," Like we practiced. Get the image in your mind, and add all of the detail that you can to it. Charge the idea with positive emotion and don't discard it with doubt. Remember to: WRITE IT DOWN, as thought you already have it. "I'm so grateful and thankful now that I have/am.........." 2) Apply the principles of thought you know thus far: RELATIVITY and POLARITY - use them to help you find gratitude, live them until they become an established pattern in your life- for good! 3) Practice the power of visualization with small things : lost car keys, purse, binki, shoes, etc…. Remember your subconscious does not know the difference between an actual even and an idea. The next time you lose something or can't find something, take time to STOP, relax, visualize it and add detail and go forward with what you are doing KNOWING that you ha

Law of Polarity Class Notes 6/18

Thanks to everyone who came to Junes class! I had a great time! I hope you enjoyed the exercise we did to help in grasping something concrete in how the thought process works. I can't post those notes on the blog- because it won't really make sense as it was an exercise, but I will post all of the things about the Law of Polarity! Here you go! See you next month!! The Law/Principle of Relativity and the Law of Polarity are similar in that they are both tools to help you feel and find gratitude about a negative situation. 9 Law of Polarity: EVERYTHING HAS AN OPPOSITE “Everything, and I mean everything of consequence has an opposite. Its law. You can’t fall six feet down from being four feet up. You can’t turn left without coming from the right. ‘Yes’ only exists because ‘No’ does too, otherwise it would be meaningless.” Leslie Householder This is common and well known- so why is it so important to understand it? Because, BY LAW, the experiences or circumstances that we ca

Law of Relativity Class 5/21: Homework!!

Here's the fun stuff! The Homework... maybe we should call it something else? Did anyone's brain just say, "Ugh" at the thought of homework? Mine did! (subconscious program? ha ha!) Lets call it.... APPLICATION! 1: Practice : Using the Law/ Principle of Relativity FOR you! -Say to yourself: "This Just Is" (and when you are able, attach a positive meaning to it!) -Compare your situation to something much worse and you will find yours isn't so bad! -Know that all things are given for our benefit and learning so practice being grateful for the learning you will soon be experiencing and for the challenge to help you grow, -Be grateful for the evidence being shown you of what is in your subconscious that you are finding you are no longer in harmony with so you know its time to "re-program!" :) 2: Take Control of your INPUT! -Make a conscious decision to keep your mind well fed with positive input! -Pay attention to how you FEEL in everything you do

May Oil Spotlight! Clove and Cinnamon!

O.K. So you want to kill some viruses? Don't be afraid of the flu, when you have Clove and Cinnamon essential oils the flu will Tremble in it's shoes. Clove and Cinnamon kill 90% of all bacteria strains, with Clove EO killing more than 60 different bacteria strains and several virusus (both of these oils are in the On Guard blend from doTerra). Diffusing 12.5 mg (one forth a drop) of On Guard, Cinnamon, or Clove in a full liter is powerful enough to stop germ growth. You do not need to diffuse continuously, just 15 minutes 2-3 times a day will keep those lousy germs away. On Guard is a powerful anti-pathogenic blend with both Clove and Cinnamon added which can elliminate pathogens and germs. However, nothing can compensate for the W as hing of Hands - That is the most effective in killing germs. Add a few drops each of Cinnamon and Clove to your foaming hand wash and you are set for killing germs on your little ones hands. I like using the ON GUARD blend on my childrens

May Stickman: The Law of Relativity Class Info

Hi everyone! I am so excited about the upcoming class: THE LAW OF RELATIVITY . This law states that Nothing is either good or bad until YOU decide to attach a positive or negative meaning to it. We will go through the stickman model for this specific concept so you can see a visual and then discuss its application in depth. I also want to hear YOUR stories in trying to apply this Law (the homework/challenge assignment) and see how it has worked for you. Understanding and using this law in your behalf is HUGE! To me it is the first step in governing our thoughts. I am also going to talk more about Sub-Conscious Programming and the frequencies we are emmanating constantly. This is going to be a really fun class! Be sure to bring a friend or your spouse! It is always so much more helpful to have someone you can "bounce ideas off of" (as my husband says) and have as a support group. It is a really empowering concept! Infact, there is an article in the April Ensign called, &q

Law of Relativity Challenge/"homework"

The Law of Relativity states that: nothing is either good or bad until you compare it with something else. This means that whatever your situation or circumstance might be is neither good or bad until YOU decide to attatch a postitive or negative meaning to it. We have the agency to do that. Challenge: When something comes up in your life that you aren't quite liking, practice controlling your thoughts and emotions. Say to yourself: "This Just IS, its up to me to decide whether it is good or bad. This situation JUST IS, until I decide." Take a moment to ponder someone else that might be going through something worse than you, reflect for a moment on how it could really be worse- and notice how your situation all of a sudden becomes not quite as bad as you just thought it was. Know that all things are given for our benefit and learning and though you may not see the GOOD in it right now, you can know that it exists and be grateful for the learning you will soon be expeienc

Geranium Oil Spotlight

Geranium (April 2009) Have you ever tried Geranium Oil? Used for years as a gentle and calming single oil known for improving a variety of skin conditions (including dry eczema, burns, shingles, ringworm, lice, acne, cuts and wounds and even herpes or cold sores). It helps relieve pain, soothes anxiety and stress, diminishes swelling and inflammation, is sedative and useful for nervousness, and renowned for healing burns, wounds, and skin ulcers. It is used for sore breasts of lactating mothers. It is an excellent mosquito repellant. Some have used Geranium to stop excessive bleeding and nosebleeds, and during labor and delivery to prevent hemorrhage. An oil I wouldn't be without if you have a family with any skin conditions. For external use, mix 12 drops of geranium oil to about 1 cup of distilled water. Since oil is not readily dissolved in water, mix well before using. Wash the skin with this blend as needed. Another way to use geranium oil is to mix 60 drops in one cup of oliv

April 16th Class Information

The Stickman Concept: A Mind Model If I were to ask you to figure the sum of 756, 237,967 plus 234, 765, 876 in your head, could you do it? ......think.. think.. think..... That's a tough one right? But what if I asked you to write it down, then could you? Of Course you could!! You were able to SEE it! The stickman concept is just that. It is a visual representation of how our mind works. It is a very helpful tool to allow you to SEE what you are DOING inside your head. It covers the flow of our thoughts and what our thoughts actually do to us. So now I propose a question to you. Do your thoughts serve you or hold you back? (or have you ever thought about that?) After I learned this model I not only became more aware of my thoughts, but I learned how to effectively filter and control them. I have truly gained a grater awareness of how our minds work. I had heard all of my life positive phrases like: "Reach for the Stars", "Dream Big", "You are the one who w
